KOREAN Curry Christmas Banquet

Korean Curry Banquet as well as an update from the Korea Tourism Organization.

When: Wednesday, December 2 – 6.15 for 6.30 PM

Where: Doorae Restaurant, Gnd Level, 209 Clarence St, City

Who: Korea Tourism Organization - Director for Australia/NZ, Mr Deok-Soo Ahn

Cost: Members - $20; Guests of members and non members - $30.00

Thanks to the very generous support from the Korean Tourism Organization this price INCLUDES beer, wine and orange juice.

Special NOTE: The restaurant seating is limited to only 55 guests!

Menu: Korean pancakes, japche noodles; Mains include Dack Bulgogi - chicken in spicy sauce.

Any food ordered that’s not on the banquet menu must be paid for separately.

Note that only financial members are eligible for major door prizes.

NONYA Curry Banquet

Special offer from the new TICCA Wine Club!

TICCA invites you and your travel industry guests to a spicy Nonya Curry Buffet as well as an update from the Singapore Tourism Board and a complimentary Singapore Sling!

When: Monday, August 17 – 7.00 for 7.30 PM

Where: Ginger & Spice, 240 Military Road, Neutral Bay.

(This acclaimed restaurant is on the left side of Military Road when heading to the Spit. The clearway ends at 7 PM and there is plenty of parking in side streets.)

Banquet Menu: Fish cakes, Spring Rolls, Prawn Cutlets, Beef Rendang, Singapore Chilli Prawns, Chicken Curry, Squid Kecap Manis and Gado Gado rice dessert.

(There is NO vegetarian option.)

Owner/Chef Alex has promised that NO ONE will leave hungry!

Cost: Members - $40; Guests of members and non members - $40.00

All drinks are payable on consumption. The restaurant is licensed. There is a $3 corkage charge. The restaurant does NOT have credit card facilities.

Any other food ordered not on the banquet menu must be paid for separately.

TICCA announces a wine club with a difference: no club to join and no minimum quantity to buy. The wine of the month is a limited edition 2006 Millbrook Chardon-Viognier. Japanese Curry Buffet and an update from the Japan National Tourism Organisation.

 

When: Wednesday, June 17 - 6.30 for 7 PM

 

Where: Nippon Club Restaurant, 229-231 Macquarie St, Sydney

(From the top of Martin Place walk down a few doors until you see the sign "Nippon Club". There are stairs leading down to the restaurant.)

 

Menu: Japanese Curry (Chicken/Vegetarian) with Sushi and Tempura.

 

Cost:  Members - $30;

Guests of members and non members - $35.00

All drinks are payable on consumption.  The restaurant is licensed.  

Any dishes ordered separately must be paid for by the individual making the order.
